Following the same framework I use for my own brand identity clients, I’ll take you through my methods, step-by-step, setting actions for each week.

Lay the Foundations
In our first week I'll share the specific method I follow for market and customer research, storytelling style.
After showing you exactly how I pull together a report, we'll discover how you can get a feel for the storytelling techniques you like and those you don't, and how you can use these finds to differentiate your own.
Together, we'll pull together a customer profile that really gets to the heart of what matters to your customer (hint: this isn't 'Jessica is 40 and shops at Zara'). We'll establish the motivations and values that drive everything we do next...
Discover your Story
In this hugely enjoyable week I'll be taking you through the real magic of my process: discovering the unique and authentic story at the heart of your independent jewellery brand.
As well as sharing my signature frameworks for story-discovery, I'll also be revealing some of the more idiosyncratic ways I dig out narratives that are true to a brand, its people and its customers.

Find your Voice
How does your brand voice serve your customers? How does it demonstrate your values?
I'll take you through the creation of an distinctive brand voice, getting granular as we explore exactly how voice works and what parameters need to be considered.
Using my own templates I'll take you through the production of your own style guide, providing you the framework for all future communication.
Tell your Story
Taking our brand story and style guide from weeks 2 and 3, we'll be pulling together the most important piece of storytelling copy in your toolkit: your About Page.
Keeping the process as accessible as possible, I'll outline key About Page structures and discuss how to choose the presentation of your page.
I'll provide frameworks for creating the journey of your About Page, outlining at every stage how your copy builds your story and moves your audience.
Build your Content Plan
A solid content plan simplifies the complicated business of sharing your story with the world.
I'll share how your story and copy can be used to create contet pillars, ensuring the different points on your customer journey and marketing needs are met.

Implement your Identity
You have a verbal brand identity - and it might be even more powerful a business tool than you realised.
